Hello everyone,
I'm new to this list so I would like to start with an introduction:
My name is Jan Kees Blom, and I teach at Delft University in the Netherlands.
I am currently in the US however, getting started on research into
inversion structures (read: faults that have been reactivated with an
opposite sense of movement).
My question to this group is if anybody knows of (more or less) good
outcrops of inverted faults, preferably in Europe (but elsewhere would
interest me as well). I have come across papers by Dart et al (1995) and
Bond & McClay, describing outcrops along the Bristol Channel, and Kelly et
al (1999) for the Somerset Coast, but most other papers describing
inversion do not show good outcrops.
Can anybody help me with this?
thank you very much,
Jan Kees
