Hi :)
I'm currently working on chiliastic ideas and millenarians in the Middle
Ages. I'm supposed to include men like Joachim of Fiore and to give a broad
overview of theological/historic ideas on the subject, e.g. the idea of the
emperor who will return in time to rescue his people and to kick off the
millennium. So far I've read works by Norman Cohn and Peter Dinzelbacher;
currently I'm dealing with Claude Carozzi. Since it's a bit difficult to
pick the right books from the different bibliographies, could someone maybe
suggest further reading on the subject?
Thanks a lot,
Susanne Lang
