Attempts to solve political and intellectual issues by
administrative measures have a very poor record, and this seems one of the
less helpful proposals.
What possible sense is there in slowing down discussion in this way?
Alan Freeman is right -- use your e-mail client's filter facility to tune
out messages you find upsetting.
