In Germany they have called it PUSH: Public Understanding of Sciences and
Humanities.
The social sciences seem to be included under the heading sciences (entirely
reasonable). Of course you can see why the went for the English acronym. In
German it would be Öffentliches Verständnis der Natur-, Geistes- und
Sozialwissenschaften ...
