There seems to be interest in the way the sciBAr was promoted. Pasted into
this e-mail is a document re the steps we took. This is intended for
information and may be of help to others doing similar things. It is by no
means the definitive way to do these things and we are still analysing the
returns on the means by which people heard about the event so we will again
learn as we go along which are the most effective ways of attracting
