Grants to Promote Physics 2000 Round 2
Organising an exciting physics-based event in 2000 but need further
funding? The Institute of Physics is offering a second round of
small grants to support activities promoting physics. Any type of
physics-based activity is eligible, for example lecture
demonstrations, interactive science days and science theatre
performances. The grants are primarily for events in 2000, but are
also applicable for events that are planned for the annual Edinburgh
Science Festival in 2001. Grants awarded will normally be no more
than £500.
Grant forms should be returned by 31 July 2000. Decisions will be
made and grants issued by the end of August 2000.

The Institute of Physics is a leading international professional body
and learned society, established to promote the advancement and
