Since you bring up the issues Douglas, it might be an appropriate place
for me to post information about something I have been working on since
I did a paper version of one of my pieces, 'Listening to rain'
(http://sites.netscape.net/trbell/RepoRepro/listenan.htm) The web
version has animated gifs and the print version is 15 double-sided
pages, and they turn out to be entirely different pieces. even though
the web version can obviously be downloaded free, I'm selling the print
version for $2.50 ppd for those interested in making the comparison.
I'm aso thinking about the merits of doing a web/print journal and
publishing others' work the same way so i'm interested in hearing from
others who might want to go this way. A few other visual poets have
started to do the same.
