Simple question this time.
List members will recall discussion on the "List of mines" a while ago. The
page http://www.ex.ac.uk/~RBurt/MinHistNet/MS/intro.html
on the Mining History Network gives an excellent overview of the documents
prepared.
The preface page (also on the MinHist Net) for the "long standing and
ongoing research project" - The Mineral Statistics of the U.K.
http://www.ex.ac.uk/~RBurt/MinHistNet/MS/pref.html
states;
"There are ten volumes in this continuing series of county studies of
metalliferous mining in the United Kingdom from the mid-nineteenth century
to the First World War. The last five volumes have been published by the
University of Exeter. "
Is there any intention of publishing the first 5 volumes?
