Dear colleagues,
For the past few weeks I have been working with ISI ResearchSoft, the
producers of EndNote 4 bibliographic software, to create an import filter
for Index Islamicus MARC format. It is a modified MARC format. While we
have been successful with the journal records, edited volumes and book
sections do not import terribly well. The main problem is the rather
complex 260 field. Any ideas? It is to be hoped that future releases of
Index Islamicus will offer additional export options, including the ability
to export downloaded detailed records into EndNote format. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Josef Meri
