I was a bit confused to read a posting stating that PREMEDLINE is
in PubMed but not Internet Grateful Med, particularly as we teach
that it is!
I have checked the PREMEDLINE description below and sure
enough it is in IGM. Also I did a search limited to 2000 and there
were the "In process" records from Premedline. So as has been
said before it is about preference for interfaces.
We use the PubMed Clinical Queries option for demonstrating EBM
enquiries, we also use the IGM facility to create a prestored simple
search strategy and to put it in a hyperlink from your own Web page
.i.e. people click on the linkl and get the latest records on that
subject. So we are split between the two interfaces:-)

PREMEDLINE
Subject: Biomedicine
Type: In-process bibliographic citations
Coverage: All languages; all citations currently in-process for
MEDLINE.
Updates: Daily. The file count ranges from 25,000 to 100,000
records.
Document Types: Articles from more than 3,800 international
biomedical journals.
Special Features: PREMEDLINE provides basic citation
information and abstracts before the records are indexed and put
into MEDLINE. Citations remain in PREMEDLINE only until they
have had MeSH terms, Publication Types, GenBank accession
numbers, and other indexing data added.
Once the indexing is finished, the complete records are added to
the weekly MEDLINE update and the PREMEDLINE record is
deleted from the database. Be aware that PREMEDLINE citations
have not gone through NLM's quality control process.
Access: IGM, PubMed
