The NHSnet is connected to the internet by a firewall which is at IP address 195.99.125.202
Any IP addresses within NHSnet eg Trust firewall addresses will not be communicated through to the Internet. However Trust firewall addresses should be used when communicating within NHSnet.
Thus try the above IP address. NHSE IPU and NHS Telecomms are aware of this issue and considering the implications.
This message is written by a non-network expert and may be factually incorrect. The position may change over time and you should seek advice from your local IT services, who should seek advice from their local NHS Telecomms Local User representative.

Following on from a previous enquiry, I would like to activate electronic
access to journals we take in hard copy, but am prevented from doing this
by the issue of not being able to give out our IP addresses for the
Trust. Can anyone recommend a solution please?
Also, on a related issue, are there any instances where University and NHS
Trusts are sharing network links?
Thanks in advance
