Putting the “E” into Education
UWE is regularly ranked amongst the top new universities for the high quality
of its teaching and learning. Ensuring the infrastructure for future success is a
priority and to help achieve this, the Networked Learning Support Framework
(NLSF) has been introduced to develop a co-ordinated approach to innovative
and reflective delivery of teaching and learning.
Networked Learning Development Co-ordinator
This is a complex and challenging role that will utilise your technical
expertise and professional experience in achieving the aims of the
NLSF. As the leader of a small team, you will manage and promote its
development across the University of the West of England by
evaluating resources relevant to networked learning, and creating
partnerships with external organisations. You will also be involved
in the creation of web pages/workshops and developing the digital
media archiving system, Hyperion.
You will be a graduate with a professional qualification
(PCGHE or equivalent) with at least one year’s experience of working
in HE. Experience of related projects, e.g. eLib or TLTP would be a
distinct advantage. With highly developed software skills
appropriate to the creation of an integrated web based environment,
you should be able to articulate a clear vision of the objectives of
the NLSF. You will will be a skilled communicator, with strong
ransferable skills and able to develop productive working
relationships. You will be innovative and highly self motivated.
This post will be fixed term until 31 July 2002. Salary will
be in the range £23,100 - £30,600.
