The opposite of the Oedipus complex is the Electra complex
in women, which implies an archetypical relationship of the
daughter with the father.
Eugene O'Neill's great play "Mourning Becomes Electra" deals
with this father/daughter complex in updated terms from the
original Greek play.
Interesting and potentially quite creative dilemma you have there...
