Dean: The essay is entitled "Articulations of the Cinematic Code" and is
contained in Bill Nichol's MOVIES AND METHODS. It's part of a three way
debate between Eco, Pasolini, and Metz. The Pasolini piece is also in M&M
and Metz's contribution appears as Chapter 8 of FILM LANGUAGE.
