I apologize for getting a little bent out of shape, but
I'm very passionate about this subject! The moron comment
wasn't aimed at you, but at Noel Carroll. Sorry for any
misunderstanding.

That comment was also aimed at Noel Carroll, and not
you.

Fire away! That's what I'm here for! :)

OK. Sorry, but that distinction escapes me at this point.
I haven't read Carroll's piece in a long time, so
I'll have to look at it again. Fortunately, I do have access
to the book here at the university library.

Hey, even I haven't had the balls (or the money! :) )
to shoot anything on 35mm film yet! :) I appreciate your
sense of humor! :)

Well, the theoretical problems involved with any medium
of expression are certainly viewed differently by somebody
who actually wants to create in that medium versus somebody
who isn't inclined to get that crazy! :)

Again, the moron comment was directed at Noel Carroll
and not at this mailing list or you.

True! :)

Again, I apologize for getting a little bent out of shape
on the issue, but I'm here to learn, too, and I certainly
appreciate your response!
This forum is very important to me, and I don't want
to get kicked off the list, so I'll definitely try to be
more "civilized" in the future! :)
