I think that Pasolini's writings about a "cinema of poetry" could help
you, even if those discourses must be historized. Anyway, pasolini's
words are interesting, because they create a relation between cinema
studies and semiotic studies, and this was one of the first attempts. If
you find this perspective of the relation between cinema and poetry
interesting, you can go further reading Metz's "essai sur la
signfication au cinema", where Metz makes his comments to Pasolini's
cinema of poetry.
