Introduction
With issues of sustainable development and urban regeneration high on the
political agenda and with the election of a new Mayor for London, it is
timely to examine how well London fares as a sustainable city and what can
be done to improve on the current position. Speakers will consider the
environmental challenges and the closely related social issues.
