Roger et al.
I have been absent whilst this subject has been aired, and I presume
the meeting was held yesterday (Thursday), but I do hope the issue of
SLC response times was discussed.
I have attempted to obtain a copy of the course data recorded on the
HEI database for this institution since July!
The initial response received 17/7/00 was as follows,
"We will be sending a copy of the Hei database to all colleges in
the near future. Altough we haven't been given an exact date yet,
but we believe it will be issued sometime August. We will inquire
if this could be sent a bit quicker to allow you to check your course
details"

After a period of waiting and a succession of telephone calls, I was
advised by an individual within the SLC to resubmit my request to HEI
Help. This I did on the 13/10/00
Their reply dated the 18/10/00...
"I refer to your email and I have raised for extract of the database
to be sent out to you through our I.T. Section. They did not give
me a date of when this will be done."
Signed XXXX
You've guessed, still no response.
I have today resent a further request.
Does anybody know when I am likely to receive the data, or better
still, know an avenue I have not yet explored which will produce the
desired result!
