Dear colleagues
Welcome back to the first case of the millennium. I found this one just
before Christmas.
A 32 year old lady from India, being seen in Gynaecology Outpatients.
Clinical information is 'previous raised testosterone'. Serum results were
Testosterone: 1.8 nmol/L (0.3 - 2.9)
LH: 8.5 U/L (1 - 11)
FSH: 6.2 U/L (2 - 11)
Past results from 3 months earlier showed a similar LH and FSH, a prolactin
of 320 mU/L (80 - 530) and a testosterone of 9.8 nmol/L.
