I suppose that you mean urine tests. Unfortunately there is a great overlap
between stone-formers and non-stoneformes with respect to components in the
urine known to occur in renal stones. This also applies to inhibitors and
promotors of crystal growth.
Some authors advise patients to regularly measure the conductivity of the
urine in order to drink sufficiently to keep the urine sub-saturated with
respect to calcium phosphates and calcium oxalate.
