I believe that the trace element laboratory in Glasgow (UK) were ecxploring
this issue a couple of years ago. I am not certain if the interest
continued after Gordon fell retired. Alternatively, try Diane Cox (who was
one those who'discovered' the WD gene) in the Department of Medical
Genetics in Edmonton, Alberta. Sorry, I don't have a better address.
