At City we have started using Inventory control (compare inventory to
shelflist) with a Percon reader to stock check our short loan
collection. Problems are:
The Inventory report lists books that are (even slightly) mis-shelved.
There doesn't seem to be an option to produce a report on books that are
missing only.
The report only gives abbreviated information on title and barcode for
each item.
You can send the file of barcodes to a review file but this doesn't
really help you find out what's actually missing.
Doesn't seem to be a way of doing a rapid update from the inventory
report to change the status of missing items.
Apart from that, it's great.
(P.S. If anybody knows how to do the above, I'd welcome some advice.
