One big difference is that OT god punishes descendents down to the seventh
generation for the wrong done by misdoer. And focusses heavily on
worshipping the wrong deity while other crimes, such as rape, are not even
named as sins.
Or sins are more serious for certain classes of people than others (i.e.,
sex for unmarried men vs unmarried women, frequenting prostitutes or taking
concubines vs being them). But here Hindu patriarchy converges to some
extent. Manusmrti varies punishments based on the caste of the perpretrator
and of the victim.
