Adam, although I know from past experience that responding to you only
provokes you, may I ask; have you ever been to East Africa? I have. The
"pastoralists" you speak of are an ideal. There are many types of herders in
east Africa, and all of them eat very large quantities of meat. The blood
meals you speak of are pretty much restricted to the men of the Masai and
the Samburu. And both groups slaughter and eat their cattle on a regular
basis. Also cattle that die, yes it actually happens, are eaten. More over
both of these groups keep large herds of goats as well and eat them
everyday. And, they hunt and eat wild game as well.
Anyway, how does drinking blood fit into your vegetarian model?

I will try to be "cool headed." Once again, I can't help but respond to your
spreading misinformation. Pastoralists (your "herders") don't eat the meat
of the animals they own, quite unlike American ranchers. Cattle are money;
they are not eaten. The pastoralists get animal protein from their cattle by
drawing off blood from their living animals, not by killing them. You
wouldn't have to say a thing to convince them that eating meat (or rather,
surviving on it primarily) was a bad idea; they already know that.
Please do your research first.
Adam
