I agree with Vanessa about the poetry, simply divine, in particular the
'killing of the song' as a representation of mankind upon the planet.
Humans have to recognise that the planet has its material limits, in which
consumption should be restraint for respect of the environment and for
future generations. Mankind may well have tipped the balance of ecological
equilibrium, but the planet is thus an unstable entity in it's own right.
We are but mere 'parasites' feeding from the planet, an evolved creature
creating our own self destruct button. Where's the logic in that ?!
