Hmmm, I haven't seen an answer to this question yet. I've never worked
with the PSR f90 compiler, but if it doesn't provide a compile time
option to switch default reals to 8 byte quantities, you're out of luck.
g77 at least doesn't provide such a switch (it is mentioned in the
documentation that it doesn't, however).
