Hair analysis is expensive and probably best used in carefully defined circumstances. There are problems of melanin content and the effect of perms. In the circumstances Mike describes what is most important are carefully described procedures closely adhered to, including observation of sample collection and a pro-forma enabling chain of custody to be established. containers could be sealed with shatter-tape or sealed and signed. There are specialist suppliers of this sort of stuff it depends on how often you need it and how much you want to spend.
