Hi
When we get reports back from other laboratories we generally type the results into our system and send this report out to our user.
The main exceptions to this rule do include urine steroid profiles, where we type in the overall comment into our computer, but clip a photocopy of the original report to our report when we send the result to the clinician.
For amino and organic acids we send out simply the, sometimes truncated, comment.
