Regarding Bryn's post--and I have changed the thread title.
I like this post a lot, and it even makes sense to me! I will study it
further over the weekend.
But on one matter:
I believe our discussion of core readings is not over, but it may have
begun to shift more toward "strategies of reading" that we want to
cultivate among our students. In fact, I believe I have identified at
least three or four--and maybe more--strategies of reading among the
recent posts.
The idea of multiple strategies of reading accords with the kind of
pluralism we perhaps seek in our design community--and the kind of
pluralism we will get, whether we like it or not. (For my part, I like
it.)
