Hi Sharon,
We've just started a pilot - although not true podcasting - where we
are audio recording a weekly live lecture (which is followed up with a
related seminar the following week) on an English undergraduate
programme, and making this available through WebCT for the students to
playback, or download if they have their own mp3 player.
We're keen to not only evaluate the student experience of this, but to
also look at how the lectures/seminars may be open to redevelopment as a
result, how other audio resources might accompany or expand the
lectures, or help students understand difficult texts etc.
The pilot is being developed within our SOLSTICE initiative -
http://www.edgehill.ac.uk/SOLSTICE/ - no specific details of this
pilot project on the website at present, but watch this space.
Regards,
John

Hi
We have been looking at podcasts, and their possible use to our
learners. Is anyone using or recommending podcasts to their learners?
Is
anyone making their own podcasts?
