HSA CONFERENCE 2015 – ‘Housing the Generations: Justice, Inequality and the Implications of Political Change’
Wednesday 8th- Friday 10th April, University of York, UK
The call for papers for the Early Career Housing Researcher Stream at this conference is now open.
The Early Career Researcher stream represents a vital part of the Housing Studies Association’s commitment to emerging research communities. It offers early career delegates a supportive forum in which to showcase their work and gain constructive feedback. This long standing stream is well attended by conference delegates.
The Early Career Researcher stream is open to:
• Masters students
• PhD students
• Newly qualified postdoctoral researchers
• Junior researchers working outside academia
• Other researchers who would benefit from the supportive environment provided by this stream
Early Career delegates will be also be invited to submit a written paper after the conference in order to be considered for the Valerie Karn Memorial Prize.
The Early Career stream runs parallel to the main conference, which this year features a range of confirmed speakers from academia, policy and practice. Please visit the conference website for further programme information: http://housing-studies-association.org/events/
Participants are invited to present initial plans for research, tentative findings, experiences of conducting research or final conclusions, allowing scholars to present their work no matter what stage they are at in their studies.
Submission
Papers are invited on a range of topics and from a range of disciplines, including (but not exclusive to) housing studies, social policy, planning, geography, criminology, economics, sociology and politics.
