Hi John,
Probably offtopic but "stealing" generally implies denying
someone of their property. If you mean I intend to violate someones
copyright...that's not the case...but the GPL, for instance, says I have
the right to ask for the source code and responsibilities (and I have to
accept that licence if I wish to incorporate someone elses GPL code
in my own)...I should add that I done this many times before
and have generally offered my contributions back to the project
maintainers.
