I'm not sure this is something we've ever actually nailed down as policy,
but I think we should - nothing should make it onto the approved list
without an Ops portal entry. Being 'approved' should require policy
approval from the PMB, _and_ operational approval from the ops team, and
FWIW I can't see why we'd want to approve a VO who's admins can't be
bothered to just create the Ops portal entry. Plus it's a security hazard
because we then don't have things like contact addresses in the standard
place.
So, does anyone have any objections to:
- Making the existence of an ops portal entry a requirement for approval,
- Dropping EarthScience until they sort themselves out?
