Hi Mark,
SWAT vaguely passed through my mind (to go along with SPLAT and SoG's
onomatopoeic theme), but I've failed to come up with something for the W,
Starlink W(eird) Access to Tables... Nearly joking, honest!

I've read through the programmers' overview and that seems comprehensive
to me, if somewhat long and a little obsessive about the underlying
technology, rather than usage.
On the home page you describe how to obtain STIL. First on the list is the
Starlink CD. Clearly this isn't going to be true until after the next
release, so you may want to qualify/migrate this towards the bottom of the
list.
