Yes I tried that too. However, I couldn't find a way to select PIXEL
co-ordinates in a restricted set of axes. The SKY Frame encapsulates
the required axes, which likely explains why the above recipe works.
As you say some way is needed to specify which axes (rather than their
number) are to be used.
