Dear All,
I have a question regarding the correction for multiple comparisons
(again...) in VBM-studies. I wondered if anyone has experimented with
using a gray-matter threshold of, say, 0.5 to determine the gray matter
volume under investigation. If so, could this justifiably be used as a
mask for a "small" volume correction ? Background is, when doing GM VBM,
you are not interested in WM, but still WM volume is part of your search
volume and thus influences the correction procedures. I wonder if the
above-mentioned procedure could be used to address this (then again, I
am certainly not sure enough...)
Any input appreciated!
