Applications are now invited for a postdoctoral fellow position at the University of California, San Francisco Memory and Aging Center, in the lab of Dr. David Perry. Our lab’s NIH-funded studies investigate reward processing behaviors and their neurobiological basis in neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., frontotemporal dementia) and affective disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder). We utilize laboratory-based measures (i.e., psychophysiology and subjective experience) with structural and functional neuroimaging.
The UCSF Memory and Aging Center (memory.ucsf.edu) is part of the Department of Neurology and Weill Institute for Neurosciences. It has an extensive research infrastructure, with over 250 full-time research faculty and staff.
The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to participate in our innovative, interdisciplinary research environment. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. We are looking for candidates who have neuroimaging experience and strong statistical training and communication skills. Programming experience is also preferred but not required. The start date is flexible; review of applications will begin immediately.
