e-pisteme, a postgraduate e-journal based in the Faculty of Humanities and
Social Sciences at Newcastle University, is dedicated to publishing fresh and
vibrant research of the highest quality from postgraduate students and
postdoctoral scholars. The journal focuses on themes that reach across
disciplines, seeking to challenge traditionally defined ways of thinking and
doing research. e-pisteme is designed as a forum for international academic
exchange and aims to publish peer-reviewed scholarly articles by new
researchers, providing an opportunity for postgraduates to write in an
academic style for an interdisciplinary readership.
Call for Papers: 'BOUNDARIES'
Building on the success of the first issue of e-pisteme, the Editors invite
contributions for the forthcoming issue on the theme of BOUNDARIES from
postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers working across the Humanities and
Social Sciences.
Suggested areas for articles include, but are not restricted to:
Cinema, Film & Visual Borders
Gender, Body, Identity & Transgression
Geo-politics, Globalisation & Communication
Language & Linguistic Interfaces
Migration, Transnationalism & Tourism
Space & Liminality
Teaching, Learning & Acquisition
Truth, Logic, Faith & Belief
