I, too, would be interested to know of any connexion
between Kipling and Saki.
I did say in an earlier letter that I didn't know whether they
had ever met --- and I don't think there was any response from the
list members.
The obvious guess is that Kipling and Saki were not temperamentally
compatible. Kipling is an insider, committed, a participant. Saki is
an outsider, detached, an observer.
