Dear colleagues,
last month a question about QDA-Software running under Mac Os X came up.
Unfortunately there are only a few native OS X-programs available so we have
spent some time to figure out how to use MAXqda2 under Mac Os X.
We obtained quite good results using the emulation-software Virtual PC from
Microsoft. We tested the combination of Virtual PC an MAXqda2/MAXdictio on
several G4-Macs (iBook and iMac). The speed and usability was really
satisfying. The only restriciton we found out is that the demo version of
MAXqda2 does not run under Mac OS X.
The URL http://www.maxqda.com/maxqda-eng/download/MQonApple.pdf
takes you to a paper describing the installation- und setup-process in a
short way. In addition you will find a table showing the time used for
typical operations with MAXqda2. We hope that helps Mac-Users a bit. :-)
Best regards
Thorsten Dresing

Does anyone know of good QDA Software for Mac OS X? I used to use Nudist,
but can only find old versions to use in Classic mode.
Thanks!
