17.30 Wednesday 20th March 2024 – Online via zoom.
https://www.history.ac.uk/events/co-producing-historic-england-a-showcase-community-driven-heritage-projects
From youth work, to reminiscence, from street festivals to mass participation, Historic England showcase a variety of their heritage co-production projects from across the country. You’ll hear short presentations on a diverse range of projects followed by a Q&A with the Historic England panel.
Historic England’s Communications and Public Engagement Group inspire people to get involved with the historic environment to ensure it is valued and protected. They work with people to understand, to celebrate and to take action in support of the places they care about.
This event is hosted by the IHR’s Centre for the History of People, Place and Community.
All are welcome at this free event, but booking is required. Sign up here: https://www.history.ac.uk/events/co-producing-historic-england-a-showcase-community-driven-heritage-projects
