Hi all,
We’re looking for a Web & Digital Manager to oversee the award-winning LSHTM web presence and user experience, and production of our digital content. Salary is £39,304 to £44,634 per annum, with 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and additional Director's Days). Closing date is Sunday 24 March 2019. Full details at https://jobs.lshtm.ac.uk/vacancy.aspx?ref=PSS-COM-2019-05
Our Web & Digital Manager - based in the Communications & Engagement team - will work closely with colleagues in IT Services and across Faculties and MRC Units at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, to develop the LSHTM.ac.uk website, intranet and online communications, in line with our strategy. Digital content production will include our award-winning 'research in action' feature series and a variety of podcasts, video, photography and infographics to tell our story and reach key audiences in compelling ways.
They will ensure that the website enhances LSHTM’s national and international profile, and supports its day-to-day operations. They will line manage the Digital Content Officer and the Web Editor, coordinate our Digital Steering Group, and oversee the development and implementation of LSHTM’s digital action plan. They will also advise colleagues across the institution on new web, audio and video solutions, and on working with third parties. The successful candidate will have experience of managing complex websites, including effective communication with stakeholders, experience of creating and editing web content to a high standard and excellent project management skills.
LSHTM is a world-renowned research and postgraduate education institution for global and public health, with expertise ranging from the molecular to the global, the theoretical to the applied, and the analytical to the political. We have more than 3,000 staff based in our main hubs in London, The Gambia and Uganda. The work of our outstanding, diverse and committed staff makes an impact where it is most needed – deploying research in real time in response to crises, developing innovative programmes for major health threats, or training the next generations of health leaders and researchers.
Would love to hear from you if you'd like to join our growing team.
Thanks,
Katie Steels
