The National Space Centre, in partnership with Copus, is looking to recruit
a Project Officer, to develop and manage the forthcoming Festival of Science
and Culture and the visit of Dr Bernard Harris, the first black astronaut to
walk in space.
The Project Officer will take a lead in the delivery and organization of the
festival, developing and delivering education programmes and resources,
building networks and linking with community and business stakeholders.
Assuring the smooth running of Dr Harris's visit will also be an important
part of the role.
£16000 - 19000 per annum full time until 30th April 2005, commencing no
later than 6th September 2004.
