Hi
I have conducted telephone consultations for many year as part of an agreed
contract. The manger had a responsibility to advise the employee of the
referral before submitting the referral. The employee was then contacted by
admin to agree a time and date for the call by phone or by letter. On
contacting the employee at the agreed date and time we reiterated the reason
for the call and again advised of the nature or the call and asked for their
verbal consent to cunduct the call. If they had not been informed by their
manager or were not willing to accept the call then this was noted in their
records and if the employee was not willing toproceed then the call was
terminated and the manager and HR advised of the out come.
