Dear List,
Here's a current example of an activist event which might be useful
to discuss (a brief part of their mailing is below). Minerva Cuevas
has said on this list that net-based activism works in collaboration
with physical activism, and I thought this might be a case in point-
a physical 'Trojan Horse" being constructed whilst a metaphorical
'email trojan horse' works in the virtual world. Tom Bell asks about
the poetics of activism, and perhaps this simultaneous physical and
metaphorical might be part of the poetics? Curators have frequently
dealt with the physical and the metaphorical in conventional
exhibitions - are those skills applicable here?
