MESSAGE FOLLOWS:
[With apologies for cross-posting]
Dear all,
We hope this message finds you well. We are inviting UK-based music researchers to participate in an online study which aims to understand the digital skills needs of UK-based music researchers and to also assess the impact of training events carried out in August - November 2023 as part of the "Accelerating embedded computational analysis of Web data about music in UK universities" (AH/X007316/1) project. This is a follow up study to a similar survey on digital skills needs mapping which ran last year.
Please follow the link to participate in the survey:
https://bit.ly/AcceleratingDigitalSkills
All individuals will be asked to fill in the first section of the survey about digital skills needs. Individuals who attended any of the training events will be eligible to complete the second section of the survey (training events assessment).
By participating in this survey, you will contribute to a report on digital skills needs mapping, and participants who qualify to answer the training event questions will also contribute to an assessment of the training materials with the aim of refining the training materials. The survey will take approximately 15-25 minutes (based on the number of sections answered). Individuals eligible to complete all sections of the survey may qualify for a token of appreciation.
The study has received approval from the Department of Computer Science Ethics Committee at Durham University. Your participation is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw during the survey by stopping answering questions and closing your browser.
If you have any questions or comments about the study, please contact Dr Eamonn Bell ([log in to unmask]) or Dr Annaliese Micallef Grimaud ([log in to unmask]).
Many thanks in advance for your contribution.
With best wishes,
Annaliese
