Message from the MIST mailing list.
Dear colleagues,
This is reminder that the deadline for submission of abstracts for this year's National Astronomy Meeting, including Spring MIST 2012, is end of this week: Friday 3 February.
For registration and abstract submission, plus other meeting information, please see the meeting website on
www.jb.man.ac.uk/nam.
I'd like to emphasise that are sessions of interest to MIST scientists throughout the week, not just under the MIST theme, but also under headings such as the magnetic universe, UK Solar Physics and telescopes & instruments. NAM is an opportunity for us to promote links between MIST science and other areas. Relevant sessions include:
MST1 Magnetic Reconnection in space and astrophysical Plasmas
MST2 New exploration of the geomagnetic field: opportunities with the ESA SWARM mission
MST3 Vertical Coupling through planetary atmospheres and ionospheres
MST4 Recent results in MIST science
MST5 Particle acceleration and transport at the Sun and in the heliosphere
MAG1 Magnetospheres throughout the Universe
SP1 Interplanetary observations of the Solar Wind.
SP3 UKSP/MIST Missions Forum 2012
SP4 Solar Orbiter Mission
INS4 LOFAR, the LOw Frequency ARray: Ongoing Developments and Early Results
I look forward to seeing you all in Manchester.
Best wishes,
Mike
