*National Evaluation of the Healthy Towns Programme*
The Healthy Environments Research Programme, Department of Geography,
Queen Mary, University of London in collaboration with The London School
of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, MRC Epidemiology Unit, University of
East Anglia and the University of Newcastle invites applications for
*three* posts to support the National Evaluation of the Healthy Towns
Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a project of national
importance with direct links to policy-makers and stakeholders at all
levels. The Healthy Towns Programme is an area-based initiative in nine
towns across England aimed at combating the ‘obesogenic’ environment
through increasing opportunities to improve diet and increase physical
activity.
All posts are full-time and fixed-term for 3.5 years. Prospective
candidates for Posts 1 & 2 may apply for both positions.
*Post 1: Senior Research Fellow*
Salary: £37,332 per annum

international reputation for theoretically informed and empirically
grounded scientific research.
