Mae gennym ddiddordeb yn yr hyn sydd y tu hwnt. Yn yr ymarfer comics presennol, beth sy'n gorwedd y tu hwnt? Yn benodol, mae gennym ddiddordeb mewn materion sy'n codi o fateroldeb ac ymarfer y mae creawdwyr ac ymarferwyr yn eu hystyried wrth adeiladu gwaith. Rydym yn gofyn sut y datblygodd yr adeiladweithiau hyn ar gyfer gweld-darllen yn unol â materoldeb, arferion a ymgorfforir a phenderfyniadau creadigol.
Mae'r symposiwm un panel deuddydd hwn, yn anelu at archwilio, persbectif ymarferwr a chrëwr mewn creu a chynhyrchu comics.
Rydym yn croesawu papurau 20 munud a phryfociadau ar:
Ymarfer fel ymchwil
Adfywiad crefft/technoleg

We are interested in what lies beyond. In current comics practice, what lies yonder?
In particular we are interested in emerging issues of materiality and practice that creators and practitioners consider when constructing work. We ask how these constructions developed for viewing-reading change according to materiality, embodied practices and creative decision making.
This two-day single-panel Symposium, aims to explore, practitioner and creator perspectives in comics creation and production.
We welcome 20-minute papers and provocations on:
Practice as Research
Craft / Technology revival
Individual creativity
Autoethnography and autobiography
Creative collaborations
Practical processes of adaptation or revival
Narrative construction
Materiality and production
Digital
Physical
Rydym yn gofyn sut mae'r adeiladweithiau hyn a ddatblygwyd ar gyfer gweld-darllen yn newid yn ôl perthnasedd, arferion ymgorfforedig a gwneud penderfyniadau creadigol.
Gwahoddir cynigion am gyflwyniadau ugain munud. Anfonwch grynodebau 300 gair a bywgraffiad o 100 gair i'r trefnwyr symposiwm Brian Fagence ([log in to unmask]) a Geraint D’Arcy ([log in to unmask])
Rydym yn ceisio trefnu gofal plant ar y safle yn ystod oriau'r symposiwm. Rhowch wybod i ni yn eich gohebiaeth a fyddai angen y gwasanaeth hwn arnoch.
// Proposals for twenty minute presentations are invited. Please send abstracts of 300 words and a 100 word biography to the symposium organizers Brian Fagence ([log in to unmask]) and Geraint D’Arcy ([log in to unmask])
