Hi
If you book an event via eventbrite they will tell you others of interest
tho' not all use this facility to advertise of course. Although we are a
regional organisation we try and include anything national which may be of
interest to our website visitors (thanks Mike!) giving as much notice as
possible- they come from a variety of sources, but usually triggered by an
email newsletter or forum post. We also post to social media, which can be
the best place to look for events which book up quickly.
We highlight some national/international events in our e-bulletin (
http://www.swfed.org.uk/about-us/newsletters ) Training/networking events
are listed on the website for the SW: the Museum Skills sessions (South West
Museum Development Partnership/Arts Council England) and other regional
training/networking events here-
http://www.swfed.org.uk/training/other-training. As well as the Museums
Association event listing, our Corporate Member The Collections Trust now
publish a national 'Upcoming Events'
http://www.collectionstrust.org.uk/events/upcoming-events for galleries,
libraries, archives and museums.
Kind Regards
Sally Lewis

There have been a few attempts but always hard to maintain as scraping data
isn't easy.
Museum Association tries http://www.museumsassociation.org/find-an-event
and there was another one that had the word red in it (going back to
2011?).
List and word of mouth always best.
